Randee was born and raised in California but knew she was a Texas girl at heart. She fell into the role of a wife/mother at a young age but started forgetting to take care of herself. Randee always struggled with addictive behaviors but didn’t see a problem until her life became completely unmanageable. Once she got the gift of desperation, she entered Ripple Ranch’s in-patient program.
After completing the program successfully, she was determined to continue turning her life around and to help others do the same. Randee has done just that by working as a client navigator helping the homeless get resources for affordable healthcare, food, and housing, and she has spent many nights working as a behavioral technician. Randee is an example to others of how recovery is always possible.
Randee has now returned to Ripple Ranch as an admissions counselor to continue helping others see that light in the darkness. When she is not at work, she spends her time with her family and loves every minute of it.
Jennifer Case was born and raised in the Texas Hill Country, Blanco, Texas. She has always been a patient advocate. Growing up, she would care for her grandparents and would always navigate any medical needs, translating and advocating for family members suffering from substance use disorders.
Jennifer knew early on she wanted to make a difference in the healthcare field, being a strong advocate for her patients and their specific medical needs. She first became a certified nursing assistant, working with the elderly population and those with Alzheimer’s and dementia. Jennifer wanted to become a nurse and pursued her education to become a Vocational Nurse. She continued her dream by completing her Registered Nursing Degree (RN).
Jennifer holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Texas School of Nursing. Her experience with high-acuity medical detox patients while working in emergency rooms (ER), hospitals, and inpatient rehabilitation provides strong medical and surgical skills to the organization. Ripple Recovery Ranch holds a special place for her, as she helped develop the medical program, leading in creating policies and procedures from its very first day. Jennifer successfully helped accomplish state and JACHO certifications with multiple treatment centers including Ripple Recovery Ranch.
Jennifer has a passion for teaching and educating others to promote self-advocacy. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys being part of her community by volunteering and networking as well as being an amazing mom to her two sons. She is a team player, vibrant, and talented. Her goal is to break the stigma in the medical field of addiction. Jennifer believes in individualized care as she says, “No two people are the same, so their journey to sobriety shouldn’t be either.”
